Dear Stradi Girls and Boys !

Sorry for the lack of post those days, but I've been dealing with a lot of stuff. But I'm back ! We have so many good news (that we cannot share for the moment, but, promise, really soon) about the blog and I quit my job and got another one, thus I had to focus on that to prove my boss that I'm the one he needs.

I recently ordered on ASOS and got this amazing pants that have marble on the inside. The shirt come from UNIQLO and the jacket from H&M. I really love platform shoes but I gotta say that the sole is fragile and break up easily, unfortunately. Those platform shoes come from LA HALLE, it was such a good deal, like 10.- !! It really worths it ! Oh, and look at my sunglasses ! Aren't they OH-SO-STUNNING ?! The glass is a bit purple/blue and the shape is uncommon, that's why I like them. You can shop them on PERSUN.

I've been reading a lot lately, eating up pages and pages of stories and words. It makes me happy to enter the world of the imagination ; or the world of people who lived on this planet, letting me access decades I can only dream about... That's the power of literature, when the words touch you, one good book leading to another, you feel your whole world and thoughts widen. Sometimes there are disappointments, but it's okay, choose another one. I have recently began to buy stuff on iBooks for the only reason that either my iPhone or iPad are lightweight so I don't have this excuse. And when you take public transports daily, it's great to have a few digital books to dream a little... I think it's great, we can even highlight sections or comment them, so it's a real plus but nothing will ever makes me not want to buy books. The object, it's so beautiful... Here are my great reads for these past weeks :

- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is a must-read if you love hostorical novels. It's a cynical story told by Death. It will moves you and gives you chills.

- Bobbi Brown - Leçon de maquillage is the book you need if you're looking for a complete skincare and make up step-by-step guide !

- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green is a New York Times bestseller and there are many reasons why. Not only a young adult book but also written with such a new way of seeing the world... It will make you cry and feel blessed. One of my best reads lately.

- Cinder by Marissa Meyer is a really good sci-fi debut novel based on the Cinderella story. I read this on my iPad and loved it !

- Empress Of Fashion is an amazing biography written by Amanda Mackenzie Stuart about the life of Diana Vreeland. You'll go through her years dispatched between Europe and America, her travels around the world to shoot editorials and her cool way of life. As we already said, she was a total genius freak. Enough said ;)

- We don't really speak about poetry here, but we like it as well. Love Poems by Pablo Neruda is one of the best poetry books so if you like poems and don't know the Chilean poet's work, pick this book up :)

Spring Treats

Finally, here's a review of the Clarisonic brush, which is totally awesome. It has a really cool design, a pocket size and travel case so you can easily take it everywhere you go. There are a lot of different brushes 8sensitive skin, deep pores cleansing, etc) and you can use it with any kind of products you want (make up remover, face scrub, face gels and so on) so YES, it's a splurge but I think it's really worth it (plus a 3-years guarantee). They say you can use it twice a day but I would recommand to use it only once a day (yes, your face needs scrub massage, but really, don't overdo it!) The benefits : a deep face treatment that leaves your face fresh, clean and oh, so smooth ;) Really, it's not just a hype product, it really works ! Also, if your skin is prone to spots or blackheads, you need to stop harming it with your little hand (I mean, destroying the spots until they bleed!!). The brush massage will help the spots disappear naturally ! This product really is amazing and we bet you'll enjoy the at-home spa effect ;) We use it either with a Neutrogena make-up remover, a Garnier Pure Active scrub or the Clinique 3-steps skin care (liquid soap, clarifying lotion and the Dramatically Different Mosturizing Cream)
