Last weekend, we went to Steffisburg near Thun to try out the #NespressoGourmet menu by chef Rolf Fuchs. The concept is to bring gourmet food to people while allowing chefs some creativity by using Nespresso Grands Crus coffees. This year, you could and still can enjoy the #NespressoGourmet from October 25th to November 15th. Check out the website for all information and more restaurant choice.
The restaurant was absolutely lovely, as well as the waiters and staff, and they have an incredible panorama, even at night ! We really loved trying all these perfect foods which were sometimes really surprising and we totally appreciated their wonderful selection of wines. We would totally recommend going there if you're looking for amazing and tasty fresh food.

Amuse-bouche : beef tartare, carrot and goat cheese cannelloni, truffle saucisson,
lamb sausage with avocado and a pineapple and basil drink !
Everything was so exquisitly prepared, we enjoyed the lamb sausage which was so perfect with the avocado and the carrot cannelloni : it was crispy and sweet !
Fish filet with grapefruit, cucumber and Cappricio coffee sauce.
The fish was served kind of like a sushi and the coffee sauce was delicious !
Salad with fried and poached egg and bacon.
Amazing egg idea, tasted sooo good !
Quarry feast : deer with mashed potatoes, crunchy fries ball and fresh vegetables.
Everything on this plate was on point. Special mention to the deer quarry and its wonderful taste. The fries ball was also a great discovery (but tricky to eat ;)
Truffle Brie cheese with fruit bread and apricot purée.
Brie + truffle from Switzerland ? Yes, yes, yes. A very strong taste, perfect to end the meal.
Pumpkin pie with passion fruit sorbet.
Perfect little pie, so pretty and creative. Every little color "balls" you see tasted
differently and with many textures. Awesome treat !
Of course, a Nespresso coffee to finish this amazing meal !
