Paris trip: Exhibitions + Outfit

Dear Stradi Girls and Boys !

Two week-ends ago, I went to Paris to spend some quality time with my BF and we visited a few exhibitions.

We went to look at the LAST SHOOTING about Kurt Cobain, photographed by Youri Lenguette. Galerie Addict exposed the last photos before Cobain passed away. It was very interesting to see how troubled he was, through the photos. It show him and his band, making funny faces, holding a gun.

Then, we went to Galerie Perrotin to visit the GIRL exhibition, inspired by Pharrell Williams, that shows a bunch of artists' work. It was so inspiring to see all that art about women, all the ideas about how girls are strong and essence of life. I loved the fact that there were different styles and influences.

I wanted so much to go to Le Grand Palais to admire the architecture and where all the big fashion shows take place. We were so lucky to have the possibility to visit the ROBERT MAPPLETHORPE's exhibition. It's all about the beauty of bodies, geometry, parallel between flowers and men's anatomy (and a lot more). Robert Mapplethorpe is such a genius, his work is priceless. You will also spot Lisa Lyon - his muse - Patti Smith, Annie Leibovitz, Blondie and so many more. You REALLY have to go there !

In the middle of the afternoon, we hadn't eaten yet. So we stopped at LA PENDERIE (Etienne Marcel) to have a drink - champagne with hibiscus flower for me and a mojito for the BF - and something to enjoy with our belly. 

I'm wearing black NIKE roshe run, black pants from OLD NAVY, black caraco top from ASOS, kimono from PRIMARK, black perfecto from H&M and a cute little black ciré bag from LA HALLE.

Hello Stradi Girls and Boys !

As you know, we've been to Paris for a few days last week. Of course, we enjoyed parisian streets to shoot a look. We had so much fun in the Elysee Hotel (literally 5 minutes by foot from the train station and the staff is so nice). We've talked about it in an other post, so maybe you'll know about it, MAKE SOME NOISE FOR... wait for it... RUE CREMIEUX !!! We absolutely love this cute little street, full of colors and little bushes. No car can go there. Almost can breath pure fresh air (luxury in Paris AHAH).

I chose a dark outfit to contrast with the colors. Shirt, leggings and necklace come from H&M, jacket comes from PRIMARK, shoes from NIKE, bracelet that I made on my own and glasses from PERSUN.

Aujourd’hui un post un peu spécial en anglais ET français pour que tout le monde puisse nous lire puisque nous allons vous parler de la nouvelle collection HIVER 2014 de La Redoute !

Nous avons eu la chance d’être invitées au showroom LaRedoute mode et déco à Paris dans le courant du mois de mai. Bien sûr, on a beaucoup pensé à vous et à ce qu’on pourrait vous raconter et vous montrer.

Nous avons spotté plein de petites merveilles, surtout chez les enfants (véritable coup de cœur) mais chez les adultes aussi. La Redoute nous présente sa nouvelle collaboration avec le designer Jaquemus. Avec des pièces principalement dans les couleurs rose, blanc, gris et bien évidemment jeans, la collection très bonbon-fille mais aussi très moderne nous a donné envie de nous lover dans les mignons petits pulls et les manteaux tout doux.

Au rayon des chaussures, il y en a pour tous les goûts ! Des petites chaussures fines à talons jusqu’aux baskets hype, en passant par les bottines motardes mais toujours très féminines. Les accessoires ne sont pas en manque, beaucoup de cuir, de daim, de satin et les éternels sequins qui donnent une intemporalité à n’importe quelle pièce fashion.

On se réjouit déjà des temps froids, bon pas trop quand même, l’été n’a même pas commencé ! Mais la seule pensée de s’acheter de nouveaux habits pour les prochaines saisons nous émoustille toutes sûrement .

Today it’s a special post in english AND french, we wanted everyone to be able to read us because we are going to talk about the next WINTER 2014 collection from La Redoute !

Weh ad the chance to be invited to La Redoute’s showroom fashion and interiors in Paris during May. Of course, we thought a lot about you and what we would tell you back about it.

We have spotted a lot of treasure, especially at the kids’section (truly love at first sight) but at grown up section too. La Redoute presented it new collaboration with the designer Jaquemus. Pieces mostly in pink, white, grey and obviously jeans, the collection very girly-candy but also really modern, made us want to be loved in those cute pullovers and smooth coats.

Shoes, there are something for everyone ! Really feminine high/middle heels, hype sneackers and leather boots. Accessories are crazy, a lot of leather, suede, satin, and eternal sequins which give timelessness to every fashion piece.

We already can’t wait for cold days to be here, but not too much, summer ain’t even here ! But the only thought of buying new clothes for the next seasons to come, pretty sure  really titillate each of us.
