Books

"A room without a book is like a body without a soul"
- Cicero

  • If you like chick-lit, Peaches is what you need (along with the others volumes : The Secrets of Peaches and Love & Peaches) by Jodi Lynn Anderson. Girly love stories, what else ? :) (Harper Collins Books)
  • Life, the autobiography by Keith Richards (Phoenix Editions) is really awesome if you like rock'n'roll bands ! It's a huge piece of life, so well written, you can just sense how the guy loves poetry. Feels good.
  • I just read every single page of this book with such pleasure, seriously this Taschen Basic Art Series is amazing if you love art and wanna know more about your favorite artist. This volume about Keith Haring was written by Alexandra Kolossa and it's a must-read + hundreds of amazing masterpieces inside !
  • Maybe you know Rick Gervais from The Office, but he also had a lot of great projects going on such as a serie of podcasts he created with Stephen Merchant. They sent the amazing Karl Pilkington to travel the world discovering the Wonders of the World. I think the videos are great but you just need to read the travel diaries of An Idiot Abroad if you need a good slice of crazy-laugh. Here is one of my favorite quotes from the book : "I heard this film had subtitles and I don't like films with subtitles. I may as well read the book." (Cannongate Books)
  • If you need help or inspiration to build a portfolio in fashion design, this is the book you need. 200 projects to get you into fashion design by Adrian Grandon and Tracey Fitzgerald really is a beautiful piece of advice. (A & C Black Publishers
  •  The Style Diaries book by Simone Werle (Prestel Books) is the most genius book to possess if you love fashion bloggers. You'll be able to take a look at worldwide inspirations and great minds (each portraits contains many pictures from the subject and really interesting interviews.
