Fall League

Je n'arrive pas à réaliser le nombre de beaux jours et à quel point il a fait chaud durant cet été et ce début d'automne, c'est donc sans surprise qu'il fasse siiii froid maintenant ! Je suis trop contente d'avoir trouvé des must-haves pour la saison à La Halle : je peux rester parfaitement cosy dans cet incroyable manteau oversized en maille de C by Creeks , et bien sûr, je suis tombée amoureuse de sa doublure et de son col en fausse fourrure de mouton :) Je porte un top noir et un leggings noir de Primark avec une chemise à manches longues à carreaux de C by Creeks dans des teintes navy, bleu ciel et blanc. Je porte aussi des lunettes à soleil à paillettes trop cool de LH by La Halle et des baskets à plateformes navy de C by Creeks, trop confortables. Je suis obssedée par leurs mini-mini pois blancs ;-)

I can't believe how many sunny days and how much warmth we got this summer and early fall, so it's just about right that it is now sooo freaking cold ! I'm so happy for finding great autumn essential finds at La Halle : I can stay perfectly cosy in this amazing knitted oversized coat from C by Creeks, of course, I fell in love for it's faux-sheep-fur linings and neckline :) I'm wearing a black tank top and black leggings from Primark with a long-sleeve cotton plaid shirt from C by Creeks in shades of navy, sky blue and white. Also wearing some really cool glitter sunnies from LH by La Halle and some incredibly comfortable navy platform sneakers from C by Creeks. I'm obsessed with their tiny tiny white polka dots :)

Books - We Were Liars

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart is a brilliant book that we can only recommend. Maybe you'll need to read it twice and you'll probably be very surprised. If not for the spectacularly sad twist, we recommend this book for its characters, damaged adults and fragile teens, fragile grown-ups and damaged kids. We were expecting everything that this book wasn't so it's definitely a unique one !

4 things to do during your commute


If you hate wasting your time and suffer through your commute to work, read our tips that will help you make the most of it !

1. In Switzerland we're lucky to have pretty much one of the best train system in the world, so if you take the train daily, we would advice to use your time wisely : listen to new music, podcasts, audiobooks, or read a real book ! Study, make a to-do list, meditate, play with your favorite apps, knit if that's what you like :) Use your hands all you can because remember you're lucky not to be behind the wheel. If you're still driving every day to work, choose a route that inspires you (crossing bridges, seeing mountains, cool terminal) and alternate it so you won't fall into a boring routine. In the morning, blast your favorite songs and sing along as it's the best preparation for a good day and a good mood.
2. By foot ? Walk through parks, or any path with nature and green around. Choose the small and old streets, smell the fresh air, look up and get a fresh perspective for the day ahead. If you're just a bit too far from work to walk there, jump on a bike and it's your exercise done for today ;-)
3. In the train, on the bus and in the streets, listen to conversations, be amazed by the little things, be in the moment... and if you need it, sleep ! That's what we call a commute well spent.
4. Practice mindfulness if you can (and yes, you can, because it's as simple as just being aware of your body and mind, and what goes around you. Just let it flow). Best way to start the day.
